My dear friends,

These past days were truly busy, and I may say my life was almost in the middle of a turmoil.

But I have some good news.

You see, I'm a Brazilian RPG author (yes, published and all) and I've decided to translate one of my books into English. Dark Fate is this book. It's a low fantasy horror RPG using Swords & Wizardry (classic Dungeons & Dragons retroclone) game rules (including some variations)--it's a campaign setting book.

It's more like a framework for adventures. There are no major metaplots or ubber-NPCs on every village--in fact, most NPCs are in the 2nd-to-5th level range. The idea is providing a good background to the adventures, allowing a party to explore the unknown or even meddle with courtly life and polictics accordingly with each Referee's style of gaming.

Dark Fate is a world where the Goddess of Magic died recently, causing the death of countless fantastic and mythical creatures--you won't find a plethora of demi-humans, or even great sorcerers at every corner. And it's also a world where a dreadful Necropolis arose and spawned legions of undead creatures. For now the cities are the only safe heaven, but for how long they'll remain as such?
